Personal Project: Absorption.
I wanted to try to focus this effect on the "vertex collapse" techinque. I built the shader in UE4 focusing on the "world position offset" which is the core network that allows the "collapsing" effect to work. I then set up a blueprint as "point attractor" where the mesh vertices collapse.
I made the particles in the engine using some meshes I did in Houdini to give the desired shape I whished. The wiggle effect was done in After Effects.
