Personal Project: Devil Hand.
I animated the hand in Houdini and I exported few frames of the mesh as fbx. I wanted to start experimenting with the new Unreal Engine particle system: Niagara. So I used both Cascade and Niagara to achieve this effect. More specific, I spawned some particles from the vertices of the mesh and then I used a curl noise to give it that nice behavior when it dissolves. Textures made in Substance Designer and I got the character from Mixamo. I've been inspired by an effect I watched of Devil May Cry 5.
