Personal Project: Devil Vortex
I wanted to try to reuse some of the assets I've made for some past works of my personal portfolio to make a new visual fx.
I modeled the brambles and the vortex mesh in Houdini and I've exported the ground cracks simulation from Houdini as well. I did the textures in Substance Designer and Photoshop, and I've used Niagara for spawning all the particles, vortex and brambles. I spawn the ground simulation through the UE4 sequencer.
